Fine Golf Store, Your Love

Golf is more and more popular in the world, the same with our golf store. There are many people that love to play golf. So many that instead of trying to make do with a couple of Dad’s old clubs, manufacturers have seen a rising trend in kids playing the sport and are designing golf clubs for juniors. Junior golf sets are perfect for golfers taking their first swings. They are specially designed for juniors, so they will learn to play the game the right way, feel comfortable and really know what a good game of golfing is all about. Using clubs that are old and too large for a golfer is no fun and, more importantly, could cause an injury.  Our golf store was developed specifically for people of all different heights.

Our golf clubs are designed to fit the size of a golfer’s body, swing, grip and length of arms. Most sellers of junior golf equipment will recommend that you buy clubs that are a bit longer than necessary, because you do want the set to last for a while by leaving some growing space. When it comes to junior clubs, light is better. A golfer’s swing should develop naturally and if a club is weighty, it will interfere with the way your child swings a club. The shaft of the club should be flexible until the child’s swing is where it needs to be in terms of speed. A proper grip is also essential, and junior clubs have grips designed for younger golfers. Pro shops will work with your child to determine what the proper grip size is by giving them the opportunity to try out different clubs.

The Young Masters Golf program is designed for children five to 13 and teaches girls and boys how to play the game or how to make their game better. Taught by PGA professionals, kids learn new shots, rules and the etiquette side of golfing.

There are also several specialized golf camps throughout the country that teach kids the fundamentals of golfing. Camps are set up to work with kids according to their level of experience and concentrate on areas like swing, stance, putting, chipping and other elements of the game. Programs are also usually arranged for more advanced junior golfers to help them improve their game. Of course much of the camp day is filled with golf, but there are many other activities to enjoy depending on the location of the camp. Golf camps for juniors are a great way to meet new friends with a similar love for the game of golf. By treating kids to a new set of golf clubs, golf lessons or golf camp, you are offering them the right tools to enter the wonderful world of the competitive game of golf. They may go on to earn a scholarship in golf to further their education and will surely enter many tournaments with a goal to win.
