Best X-24 HOT Irons for Lowest Price

Most irons today are designed to maximize one specific performance benefit-distance, forgiveness or feel-while sacrificing all other critical areas needed to hit more greens. That’s why razr technology is such a breakthrough. This technology leads the industry into the next generation of iron design by delivering the distance and forgiveness of a wide sole iron while retaining the playability and turf interaction advantages of a thin sole in.

These new callaway x-24 hot irons should be on everybody’s short list if they are in the market for a high technology GI iron that offers incredible distance without sacrificing the performance and feel that golfers are looking for with their new sets. While we preferred the blue badge in the back compared to the new orange look, that is merely a personal preference and with how “HOT” these new irons are, the color is fitting to say the least.

Callaway engineers strengthened callaway x-24 hot irons loft in the long and mid-irons the PW is equivalent to in Callaway x-22 irons, increased shaft length by 0.25 inches per club (when compared to X-22), and newly designed the head to account for new weight distribution. The X-24 Hot also features evolutionary improvements to tried-and-true design aspects, for example "variable face thickness" (VFT) technology and "precision notch weighting" in the rear. VFT produces 2.2 mph faster ball speed than the x-24 hot irons perform, for longer, more consistent length on mis-hits. The large cavity notch spreads weight to the heel and toe, for ample head stability and improved accuracy.

Callaway x-24 hot is now the newest Callaway series from the makers of the No.1 irons in golf for the last 13 years. The x-24 hot irons are the longest, most accurate X Series iron ever. These clubs are powered by a consistently hot face that generates peak ball speeds for maximum distance with pinpoint accuracy. The golf set is a new production that comes with the most reasonable price and free shipping worldwide, and great discount on the golf stores.

RAZR X Irons, Cheap Golf for Sale

Callaway is undoubtedly one of the greatest names in the golfing world. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that every golfing iron, driver or wedge they produce has been rigorously tested by passionate golfers to ensure it meets their high mark of quality. If you want to put more spirit into your game than you can do no better than the callaway razr x irons, it is true they are a little on the expensive side but you get what you pay for and when you are looking at superior equipment, you would expect the engineering technological advances to be reflected in the price tag.

The key technology is the all-stainless steel iron repositions 30 grams to the lower portion of the cavity, to create a large sweet spot in line with where average golfers strike the ball (low on the face). Consistent, high ball speeds combine with stronger lofts (long irons strengthened by 2°, short irons by 1°) to produce shots that fly 5 yards longer on average than X-22s.

The Shafts of the callaway razr x irons on these are at least adequate for the task. The Graphite Models are your typical Callaway OEM Shaft, though the new sense of quality control is evident in their newly re-acquired consistency. They range from as feathery as 61 Grams in a Light Flexed Wedge to as hefty as 79 Grams in A Stiff Flexed Long Iron. The flex steel shafts are True Temper Lights with a slightly softer tip for more of that easy launch. The graphite shafts feature a Low Kick Point in Light Flex, a mid-low kick point in Regular Flex, and a Mid Kick Point in Stiff Flex.

There are some customers who have bought the callaway razr x, have their own opinions about the golf set. The razr x irons are very nice irons. They have a lot of callaway's trademark manufacturing points as in techno-kitsch, good distance, good balance, above average forgiveness, and that new found sense of pride in their quality control.

X-24 HOT Irons, Coming Shock

Maybe Callaway is best known for its big bertha range of drivers, the callaway x-24 hot irons industry’s first stainless steel and wide bodied wood, which launched the company to iconic status with amateur and pro golfers alike. The ever-popular X-Series irons franchise (now in its seventh iteration) has a lot to do with the company’s success. The greater sweet-shot on the Callaway Golf- X-24 Hot Irons clearly aims at the improver’s area in golf rather than the more professional clientele and as such, it is perfect.

Recently, callaway Company has put up a new golf club, callaway x-24 hot irons. There are some special points in the new club. The engineers at Callaway take a serious look at their clubs and modified the x-24 hot irons into the precision tools they are today. By increasing the length of the shaft by just an extra a quarter inch per club and redistributing the weight in the head, the results are truly outstanding clubs. Callaway designers have introduced the new stealth PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) finish to the callaway x-24 hot to reduce glare and an impressive, darker look.

The reason why the callaway x-24 hot irons is special is that new stealth PVD finish provides a distinctive dark look that minimizes glare. A hot clubface with a large sweet spot generates faster balls speeds for maximum distance even on off center hits. Precision Notch Weighting moves more weight to the perimeter of the head promoting pinpoint accuracy and control. This enables an optimal CG position that provides strong trajectories. 360 Degree Undercut Channel and Modified work together to provide total performance and enhanced feel for a wide range of golfers

Last week, I have bought this golf set, at first, I bought it for my husband, he didn’t like it very much, but after using it for a long time, it has become one of the best friends, I found his golf skills have improved so much, so today I am pleased to tell you this good thing. You will love this set, at the same time, if you buy this golf club, you can get a pair of gloves as an accessory.

RAZR X Irons Discussion

Maybe the most important clubs in your bag are not your irons, but if you don’t utilize them correctly you will never get to use the most important club in your bag.  If your iron play is not good, then your putter will come in handy for sinking double bogey and triple bogey putts.  However, if your iron play is good, then you will create more birdies and pars opportunities and will lead to a more consistent game.  Sometimes all it takes is the right equipment’s and one of the better choices out there is the callaway razr x irons.

The razr x irons create tighter shots, shorter putts and lower scores through uncompromised performance. Most irons today are designed to maximize one specific performance benefit— distance, forgiveness or feel— while sacrificing all other critical areas needed to hit more greens. To consistently hit it close and shoot lower scores, golfers need to be able to make shots from all areas of the golf course. That's why RAZR Technology is such a breakthrough. This technology will lead the industry into the next generation of iron design by delivering the distance and forgiveness of a wide sole iron while retaining the playability and turf interaction advantages of a thin sole iron.

I don’t know which version to get, the razr x irons or the razr x tours. I will not be able to try the clubs before purchasing. i play in the low 80′s but can still manage a 90 now and then. I own mp-32′s, the clubs I started golf with and now using ap 2′s. I love the mizzy and the accuracy of the ap 2′s but I just want the razr x’s, maybe because my only 79 was with the x-22′s. Leaning towards the razr x with a 3 and 4 hybrid because a already own a blade and cavity back but scared the razr x might be to chunky.

Actually, I like the golf set very much, now I am so glad to introduce you this driver, the new callaway irons will be your best choice. Come to buy them, you will make a right choice. The golf clubs in the golf store are excellent; I decide to go there to buy the other productions.

Discuss X-24 HOT Irons

Dr. Alan Hocknell, Callaway's senior vice president of research and development said, "We recognize there are golfers looking for distance gains throughout their entire bag, and thus employed our core technologies and faster ball speeds into the design of X-24 Hot Irons, a longer, more accurate set than any of their predecessors."

Since x-22 irons have become famous, now Callaway Company launches the other great production- callaway x-24 hot irons. From the top iron maker that has the history of 13 years of iron making, the x-24 hot irons have some ground breaking improvement in technology. These clubs are powered by a consistently hot face that generates peak ball speeds for maximum distance with pinpoint accuracy. The stealth PVD finish provides a distinctive look that minimizes glare. You can find golf shops of the best callaway x-24 hot to reduce some cost on your X-24.

The callaway x-24 hot irons are the longest, most accurate X-Series iron that Callaway has produced to date. It features Variable Face Thickness (VFT) technology which provides a hotter club face with an increased sweet spot, resulting in faster ball speeds across the entire face, even on miss-hits. It also features Precision Notch Weighting which adds discretionary weight to the perimeter of the club for improved accuracy, as well as a lower, deeper center of gravity for optimal trajectory. Its dark PVD finish eliminates glare and frames the ball nicely at address.

The golf set makes a decent first impression; they certainly look the part with the dark PVD finish complimenting the burnt orange graphics very well. I was using the graphite shafts, never my personal preference, but the overall quality was impressive. The shorter irons were very impressive and the wedges were particularly good fun to hit. Moving through the set I became less enamored although this was partly because I’m not very comfortable with the graphite shaft rather than a problem with the clubs themselves. More weight in the perimeter of the head promotes pinpoint accuracy and control and enables an optimal CG position that provides strong trajectories.

R9 Irons, Amazing Playing Experiences

Show me a golfer who doesn't dream of playing blades and I'll show you a liar. We know that nothing feels like a blade when you pure one from the middle but actually getting one out of the middle is the trick. Before the rise of the cavity back, a round of golf for the vast majority of players was several hours of finger numbing thins and miss-hits that barely coughed past the ladies tees. Cavity backs, with their increased level of forgiveness without losing distance, are the main reasons that so many of us are able to play the game we love to the standard we do by.
Thanks to TaylorMade and BSG for letting me participate in this panel review of the new R9 irons. Prior to this opportunity, my bag contained TaylorMade r7 Taper Tour irons, shafted with True Temper Black Gold shafts in stiff flex... and I had no thoughts of changing irons. I am now playing the new TaylorMade R9 irons shafted with KBS Tour shafts, also in stiff flex. The TaylorMade R9 Irons were built to same specs for length, loft, and lie as my r7's.
There are two things that I immediately liked about the TaylorMade R9 Irons. The finish is a mix of chrome and satin which I believe makes the top line look thinner. While a thicker top line doesn’t really bother me, the thinner look is nice and should make these TaylorMade R9 Irons more appealing to a larger audience. The second is the feel. The ball just seems to leap off the face, yet I can immediately tell where it was struck on the clubface. As a less than scratch golfer, this helps me as I work to improve my game.
The Benefits of TaylorMade R9 Irons
The ultra-thin wraparound face creates more ball speed off the face of the TaylorMade R9 Irons, which translates into more distance for the golfer. These TaylorMade R9 Irons are also designed with inverted cone technology, which give the golfer more consistent distance when they miss the sweet spot of the face.
The longer TaylorMade R9 Irons are designed with a velocity control chamber to help golfer gain consistency and control. This also helps with power and ball speed. This chamber is also filled with silicone and soft foam to help give the iron less vibration, a better sound, and more feel for the player.

R9 Irons Review

Taylormade is one of the leaders in the golf industry and many of their golf clubs are played on the PGA tour and many other tours as well. The Taylormade R9 Irons are made to be more forgiving, create a better feel, allows the golfer to work the ball better, and add distance.
This is quite a bit to ask of any golf club and when a company makes claims like this they better back it up with new technologies and improved performance. Taylormade has done quite a good job of doing so and provides many new and innovative technologies in this new iron set.
Distance and control-enhancing technologies in a classic shape
The TaylorMade R9 Irons ’ clean, simple lines appeal to more traditional tastes. A deep, undercut cavity and heel-toe weighting in the short irons offers increased forgiveness and a beveled sole in every TaylorMade R9 Irons head reduces turf resistance and promotes crisp contact.

TaylorMade R9 Irons FEATURES:
Velocity-Control Chamber (VCC) in 3 - 6-irons for increased consistency, ball speed and power
Innovative shock-absorption system in 3 - 6 irons for satisfying feel and sound
Deep undercut cavity and heel-toe weighting in short-irons for increased forgiveness
Beveled sole in every iron reduces turf resistance and promotes crisp contact
Choice of two premium shafts: KBS steel or Fujikura® Motore graphite
The TaylorMade R9 Irons come standard with either the KBS steel 90 gram steel shaft (regular or stiff) or the Fujikura Motore graphite shaft (senior, regular, or stiff).
Thanks to TaylorMade and BSG for letting me participate in this panel review of the new TaylorMade R9 Irons. The R9 irons were built to same specs for length, loft, and lie as my r7's.

The TaylorMade R9 Irons performed above or beyond all my expectations. They are an oversized club that has feel. The long TaylorMade R9 Irons absolutely murder the golf ball and despite the slight drop in forgiveness over the r7 irons that came before, they are still quite forgiving. Moreover, the irons actually look good. If you are a mid- to high-handicap player, this is a set of clubs I would highly recommend.

FT IQ Driver Review

Using technologies traditionally found in Stealth Bombers and Formula 1 racecars, the engineers at Callaway Golf created a driver with a single goal in mind: long bombs down the middle. The FT-iQ driver starts with a refined head shape that's built to increase the moment of inertia (MOI) at impact, giving you unprecedented accuracy off the tee. Golfers can also turbo-charge their tee shots thanks to the Hyperbolic Face Technology, which raises ball speeds across the entire face to promote added distance. And golfers will love the exclusive Fubuki shaft from Mitsubishi Rayon, which adds to the driver's incredible feel and performance.

Having recently just purchased the new FT-IQ driver ( 9 degree with a stiff shaft ) and played my first game in very windy conditions, that this driver is slightly longer off the tee than my old FTI driver. From an accuracy point of view don\'t be too fooled into thinking that this club will sort out all poor swings as it won\'t. Im sure you have all heard that put a bad swing on any club and you are likely to hit it all over the place and this club is no different. I play off 6 handicap and yes there will be times when I am not totally square at impact resulting in a pushed shot for me. This club is also 1 degree closed at address to help aid golfers who slice or push there tee shots. Yes in some regards this club does straighten out a few bad swings but if you are open at impact then expect a slice as it will not over correct that much. The shaft in this club is very very good and that can make all the difference and affect your ball flight so be patient and trial before you buy. The head is easily aligned to the target and is slightly heavier than my the older FTI driver. I also found that if you really tried to force the shot you have to allow your hands and weight shift to be behind the ball as anything open or in front prior to impact will be punished right of target. But when fully square at impact and you allow the club to do the work then this club will perform time after time after time and is very accurate and long. The sound at impact is less tinny than the old FTI which is very pleasing. In short this is a very expensive club that will help a lot of golfers who do slice or push tee shots but you also have to work with the club and be patient and im sure you will see where I am coming from. I suppose the big question for most golfers is \" can you justify the cost \" and if you can then do try this club and see if it put\'s a smile on your face.

FT-IQ, the Gold Medal Winner

Following the footsteps of its predecessor, the FT-i driver, the FT-iQ utilizes Callaway's proprietary Fusion Technology to produce the most forgiving and accurate driver with a multi-material construction, to optimize performance. The queer and oddly-attractive head shape dramatically increases the moment of inertia (MOI) and significantly improves the club's ability to resist twisting during miss-hits.

Callaway Golf makes unique use of carbon composite material in the body of Fusion Technology drivers. The idea behind the technology--which took 10 years of research to perfect--has always been to move weight from areas of the clubhead where it's less useful to where it's needed most. This philosophy allowed Callaway engineers to precisely position the center of gravity (CG) on the perimeter, helping increase stability on off-center hits and generate the straightest drives possible. The club's refined head shape, meanwhile, encourages the MOI, CG, face height, and face thickness to all perform at their peak levels, providing premium distance, unprecedented forgiveness, and a straighter ball flight off the tee.

Gold Medal awarded to the Callaway FT-iQ Driver from Golf Digest
"Straight distance. That's what you want from your driver. No need to think. Just pick a target and swing away. Say hello to the FT-iQ Driver, the longest, straightest driver Callaway is ever created."
"Super straight with a muted sound at impact. This club can really benefit a slicer, too, because it's almost impossible to curve to the right, great news for most amateurs out there."
"Using the coolest, latest technology found in Stealth Bombers and Formula 1 race cars, the brightest minds at Callaway Golf have created a driver with one result in mind: long bombs down the middle."
"The refined head shape has a sleek look and raises the moment of inertia (MOI) for unprecedented accuracy off the tee."
Explosive off the clubface. There's no ping or vibration. Saw no curve even on toe and heel mis-hits.

As sleek a square shape as there has been. The Mitsubishi Fubuki shaft is a great bonus.
Hyperbolic shaping is the cutting edge of driver face design. Mathematics and engineering combine to create Callaway's highest ever ball speeds across the entire face.
The exclusive Fubuki shaft from Mitsubishi Rayon adds to the incredible feel and performance. So pick a target and fire a smart bomb.

hawk driver

When it comes to tee shots, golfers tend to fall into one of two categories: players who simply want to crush the ball, and those who are willing to give up a few yards if they can shape their shots.
If you're all about distance, Callaway has the Diablo Octane driver. But if you like to draw the ball around a corner or fade it into the short grass, the company now offers the RAZR Hawk and Callaway RAZR Hawk Tour Driver.
Like the Diablo Octane, the RAZR Hawk and Callaway RAZR Hawk Tour Driver are made with Forged Composite, a super-lightweight material Callaway developed in conjunction with Lamborghini. To create it, millions of ultra-thin carbon fibers are heated and pressed between two halves of a metal tool. The fibers melt in the heat and pressure of the tool and ooze into the exact shape Callaway desires. The final product is very strong, and very light.
The Callaway RAZR Hawk Tour Driver is uncompromised performance. Once again Callaway has made a giant leap forward with Forged Composite technology. This new material gave them the freedom to position weight exactly where they wanted to for maximized power and distance.

Callaway RAZR Hawk Tour Driver Features
·        Forged Composite: Revolutionary new material that?s lighter, stronger than titanium. Sole and crown contain over 23 million turbostratic carbon fibers that constitute 47% of the clubhead.
·        Hyperbolic Face Technology: Chemical milling process selectively removes excess material for precision thickness control across the face. Consistently high ball speeds for long distance.
·        Aerodynamic Head Shape: Streamlined surface contours reduce drag during the downswing by 43% compared to the FT-9 Driver. Creates higher impact speeds for added distance.
·        RAZR Weighting System: Each driver is available in either a Draw or Neutral configuration. Allows golfers to select model that works best with their ball flight.
·        Aldila RIP Graphite Shaft: Lower torque with better tip stability. Give better players the ideal performance and feel they want from their shaft.
·        Aerodynamic head shape and streamlined surface reduces drag by 43 percent
·        Aldila RIP graphite shaft; available in 8.5, 9.5, and 10.5 degree lofts
·        Extremely high moment of inertia for faster head speeds and greater distance
·        Hyperbolic Face technology removes excess material to encourage higher ball speeds
·         Men's driver made using revolutionary material 1/3 the density of titanium
I buy my Callaway RAZR Hawk Tour Driver at a demo and with high-end balls it's GREAT!!! In 20 rounds I'm averaging 9/14 fairways and the other 5 are in the first cut. Callaway RAZR Hawk Tour Driver gave me 25 yards carry. Get to a demo day, you won't be sorry.

competition

In 2010, pro golfers will be required to play newly mandated "competition" grooves in short irons and wedges (more specifically, in clubs with 25° or more of loft).
You might not realize it, but the rule change could affect your putter choice. Consider this: New conforming grooves generate less spin on shots from rough than current grooves do. Switching to a softer Tour ball might be one way for pros to regain some spin.
Odyssey's brass is banking on this scenario. The firm's new White Ice putters feature a firmer face insert (than the White Hot XG) to complement softer Tour balls. The multilayer face has the same outer material (thermoplastic elastomerurethane blend) as in the White Hot XG, while the inner material (a different thermoplastic elastomer compound) is twice as stiff. Bottom line: Putts sound louder (for a longer period) than they do with the White Hot XG but softer than with the Black Series putters. Ball speeds with White Ice are marginally faster than White Hot XG and comparable to the Black Series.
An extended blade-like putter head that features the revolutionary 2-Ball alignment system, a crank-neck hosel and full-shaft offset. This enables the golfer to see if the putter is fully aligned to the target, without interference from the shaft.  It also promotes a hands forward position enabling a more upward stroke into the ball, which creates faster topspin and a truer roll of the ball.

White Ice Insert

The new White Ice Insert is Odyssey’s best feeling, multi-layer insert to date.   It has been fine-tuned to enhance sound with all types of ball.  It also gives better responsiveness and resiliency, which leads to consistent distance control. The roughening of the face surface helps increase friction between the ball and the insert.   Like the crank-neck hosel and full shaft offset, this also promotes a smoother roll of the ball.

Adjustable Weighting

Allows you to optimize the feel and performance of your 2-Ball putter based on your personal preference. Three available weight chips can be easily switched out on the sole of the putter, precisely dialling in the head weight at 350g, 360g, or 370g.

2-Ball Alignment System

This design provides a visual aid that makes lining up putts easier and more accurate.

Dark Nickel Finish

Creates a rich, premium look.

Promise

If you find a defect on the Odyssey White Ice 2-Ball Blade Puttwithin a two-year period, they'll repair it or replace it. No questions asked.

Why Do We like Diablo Edge Driver?

There’s no doubt that Callaway knows how to make a driver that people can just plain hit.
With so many restrictions on size, dimensions and materials, engineers have also identified aerodynamics as an area where performance improvements can be made. By streamlining the clubhead design, this year’s Callaway Diablo EDGE Driver
produces 8% less drag than its predecessor. In a game of fine margins, the extra 1mph of ball speed that equates to is not an insignificant gain.
A new process of ‘chemical reduction’ has also been used to remove unwanted material and vary the thickness of the hyberbolic face. The result is a more consistent ball speed, even on off-centre hits. Again, it’s a small improvement, but factor in all the other developments and it becomes clear this club is greater than the sum of its parts.
Thankfully, it’s not just a question of seeing the benefits in a laboratory. Take the Callaway Diablo EDGE Driver to a driving range and you’ll soon realize just how much better this club is than what went before. Not to say that the BB Diablo was lacking – for the high-handicap slicer it’s excellent – it's just that the new version is an improvement.
As well as the revised aerodynamics giving it a sleeker look, the bulge on the toe portion of the Callaway Diablo EDGE Driver is far less pronounced at address and it sits beautifully behind the ball. The graphics on the sole are more subtle and the diablo logo on the crown makes alignment easy.
6 Positives from buyers of Callaway Diablo EDGE Driver
:
Golfers notice overall improvements in distances with this driver some with up to 10-20 yards increases from off the tee.
allows you to hit very straight drives and reduced slicing
very forgiving and easy to hit with a really big sweet spot
Good looks. Overall design is a very sleek and makes you look like a seasoned pro on the golf course
Smoother swing due to its advanced aerodynamics resulting in wind reduction
Great feel and sound at impact with the ball

All in all, there’s no doubt that Callaway knows how to make a driver that people can just plain hit. Our experience tells us that the Callaway Diablo EDGE Driver is yet another club that does it’s fiendish best to carry on that legacy.

Odyssey White Ice 2-Ball Putter

Odyssey has been the foremost leader of the Belly and Long Putter revolution on Tour, as more and more professionals are using Odyssey Belly Putters to win the biggest events in golf. Elite Tour Pros like Phil Mickelson, Ernie Els and Trevor Immelman have drained clutch putts and gained more stability and balance through their putting strokes with Odyssey Long and Belly Putters in their hands. The White Hot XG Sabertooth Belly also became the first long putter to ever win a major at this year"s PGA Championship. These models are changing the putting landscape on Tour, and Odyssey continues to lead the charge in this new era of Long and Belly Putter domination.
The Odyssey White Ice series is sporting a new finish this year…it is a black nickel finish with a medium to heavy beadblast. The color is pretty rich but I am not a big fan of the beadblast. I would have preferred to see a lighter beadblast that does not produce such pits which can cause too much reflection coming off the surface of the putter. But the black and darker finishes are the in thing right now…so I get where they were going with the new finish.
With the standard two ball design, where the third ball is your own at the front, really helps with the alignment. It's been the preferential choice for many years for Padraig Harrington, who's put it to great use now having won three majors.

It comes with the standard white insert - which gives a lovely soft feel and great consistency on the roll.

You'll notice at the back you've got a weight system. So if you need a 36" or even a 33" putter, then Odyssey can  put different weights into the head - to give you perfect feel and consistency from the head weight up to the grip handle.

I've never been a very big fan of this putter, but a lot of people have loved it for the ease of aiming up. It's got what I would call the old, conventional Ping Anser style putter head, with the two ball system added on. So it gets the weight further back and sets up a nice pendulum movement.

I don't really like the way it sits but there's a lot of people out there who do. It does help with the alignment, though, I must agree, and it's very easy to get a nice smooth stroke back and through.

Diablo Edge, 2010 Winner

The Callaway Diablo EDGE Driver is the superb winner of the 2010 gold medal, featured on the Hot List of the Golf Digest. Compared to other clubs, the Hyperbolic Face Technology of its design ensures greater ball speed when hitting off-center. This significantly improves the total distances during an off-center hit.

The Callaway Diablo EDGE Driver also reduces the drag in a downswing, resulting in higher impact speed. The aerodynamic body designs optimize and refine the edge transitions, thus reducing drag by 8 percent compared to other driver heads of 460cc. They truly believe in the game and to help golfers at any skill level to find success and infinite enjoyment. They realize golf is a game of passion, trying to help golfers feeling the sensation of a perfect strike.

Should you be looking for the best and also the most suitable driver for your game of golf, you may have just found the right one. This Callaway Diablo EDGE Driver can certainly help you get the best performance of your life. The following will show how it helps achieve that goal and its main benefits.

Callaway Diablo Edge Driver Main Features:
Built with Callaway’s core technology – S2H2 giving a reduced weighting hosel and one of the world’s most stable golf drivers
Distance-optimised golf driver with penetrating ball flight using a Titanium modular 4-piece fusion design
Enhanced aerodynamics in the design lowers drag in downswings which outputs a higher impact speed.
Improved impact efficiency and consistent high ball speed with a hyperbolic club face
Gold medal winner in Golf Digest’s Hot List for 2010

The weight from the Callaway Diablo EDGE Driver is vitally important. That’s the reason why that Callaway’s 4 piece fused titanium design, the Callaway Diablo EDGE Driver is created in this kind of a way to make 100% certain that the weight is equally or proportionately dispersed to allow for the best overall performance in general. As soon as this is achieved, distance of the ball can also be considerably increased.

Our experience with the Callaway Diablo EDGE Driver was certainly a positive one.  Prone to a high or ballooning ball flight with his current driver, or tester was able to able to produce consistently optimal trajectory with the Diablo. Even better, the Callaway Diablo EDGE Driver was very forgiving, as off-center hits did not typically produce disastrous results.

Diablo EDGE Driver, For Every Golfers

For skilled and not-so-skilled amateur golfers alike, finding a driver that one can pick up and hit long, straight, and reliably is no easy task. That’s why clubmakers continue to push the boundaries of design science just as far as the USGA and the R&A will allow; it behooves players like us to avail ourselves of these advances. The Callaway Diablo Edge Driver s a prime example of this concept in action (long-down-the-middle action). Hit the jump to get our thoughts and see how this devilish driver can help you put your partners to shame.

The Callaway Diablo Edge Driver is specifically designed to give you the edge in distance you’re looking for. As Golf Digest’s 2010 Hot List gold medal winner the Diablo Edge includes a much superior club face, a increased MOI, increased CG depth, and improved aerodynamics – all these features add up to a longer and more accurate shot from the tee. The all-titanium driver is regarded by many buyers as the best driver Callaway has ever produced.

Main Benefits of the Callaway Diablo Edge Driver:
The Diablo Edge Driver will allow you to have longer ball flights via the reduction of drag in your downswing. Calllaway have done this with enhancements in weighting and aerodynamics. This is acheived via Callaway’s advanced engineering in producing a unique build with the fusion of 4 titanium elements to acheive weight efficiency and the end result is an improved club head aerodynamics.
I was so impressed with the original Diablo Driver that I was almost afraid to try this one. After all, I had just started to be won over by Callaway's latest offerings. I was truly in fear that I was about to be rather underwhelmed by a second generation driver that represented change for change's sake. Instead, I was once again pleasantly surprised as Callaway continues to obviously be sinking lots of money into research and development, as well as quality control. The Diablo Edge is indeed a cut above the original. There's a lot of technology in this one, so don't let that "Christmas Ornament On A Shaft" look of the original make you shy about trying this one. Whereas I called the first Diablo Driver--"Callaway's Tribute to the TaylorMade Burner", this one continues in that vein, however, there's more than just a slight tip of the hat to Cobra on this one. Lest that begins to sound too much like a messy hodge podge of wannabe compromises, follow me here on this one. Callaway continues to impress, and here's why.

A Great Helper in Tee Shots

The Diablo Edge is Callaway’s latest effort to put easy-to-hit technology in the hands of your average golfer. Since that describes us and most of the guys we know, we applaud the concept. The most obvious visual feature of the club is it’s shape which offers a pleasing blend of the traditional and the progressive. The overall silhouette offers improved aerodynamics that cuts down nearly 10% of the drag that can slow the clubhead speed of competing 460cc drivers. Translation: faster clubhead = longer drives. This shape also produces a slightly shallow face, which, though subjective, gave us a very confident look at address. Additionally, this means that the clubhead’s weight has been optimized towards the perimeter of the club for maximum MOI (moment of inertia) and stability for corralling off-center hits. An all-titanium driver, the Diablo Edge offers pitch-perfect audible feedback, neither too muted nor too sharp (the sound of a driver is a trait that is often overlooked, but can be very unnerving if not properly tuned).
Having already propelled Alvaro Quiros to become the longest driver in world golf, Callaway is now planning to help the rest of us discover our inner big-hitter with the launch of a new line of drivers for 2010. But power is only half of the story, I claims, with the new diablo drivers (standard and Tour versions) offering both distance and forgiveness.
As you might expect, the new drivers feature the sort of technical advancement we’ve come to associate with Callaway. Far from being a simple cosmetic touch-up, this is a full-blown overhaul with updated geometry, improved aerodynamics and a new four-piece design helping to create what the company claims is the most weight-efficient all-titanium driver it has ever produced.
The fusing of crown, sole, face and internal weight enabled Callaway engineers – led by Briton Dr Alan Hocknell – to make the body of the driver much thinner than would have been possible with a standard casting. The weight saved was then moved lower and further back in the head, with a carefully positioned weight chip lowering the CG (centre of gravity), improving the launch conditions and even giving a slight draw bias. If you want to bomb drives these, surely, are your ideal conditions.

The club also greatly helps with the off center hits. A 15-16 handicapper used to believe of fixing the swing, not the club. He was never a real believer in buying new equipment to help the golf game. But with Callaway Diablo Edge Driver, it made him change his view.

Diablo Edge, So Easy to Hit

The Callaway Diablo Edge Driver is designed to give golfers a distance advantage every time the ball is teed up. Every aspect of the Callaway Diablo Edge Driver has been engineered for improved distance and stability. The entire clubhead is made from a modular, 4-piece fused Titanium design for the most weight-efficient driver Callaway has ever designed. Not only is it light, but the design allows for discretionary weight to be strategically placed for added distance and penetrating ball flight. Callaway is also using a chemically milled hyperbolic face. They use a chemical reduction process to selectively remove unwanted material from the faceplate for precision thickness control. The hyperbolic design means there’s greater thickness at the edges than the center, allowing the golf ball to spring off the clubface for increased ball speeds which result in greater distance off the tee. A more aerodynamic body design creates 8% less drag than the Big Bertha Diablo model to generate faster swing speeds. The standard model features Callaway’s shorter, low-profile S2H2 hosel which allows for additional weight relocation for enhanced stability. The Tour model features a standard hosel along with a slightly more traditional head shape, less face progression and more forward center of gravity to appeal to lower handicap players.
Callaway Diablo Edge Golf Driver Features and Specifications
Distance Enhancing, Penetrating Ball Flight: Fused Titanium in a 4-piece modular design produces the most weight efficient titanium driver we’ve ever created. Each part is precision formed and accurately fused together, allowing weight to be positioned optimally.
Our Most Consistently High Ball Speeds Ever: Chemically Milled Hyperbolic Face Cup uses a chemical reduction process to selectively remove unwanted material for precision thickness control.
Reduced Drag in Downswing for Higher Impact Speeds: The Aerodynamic Body Design refines and optimizes all edge transitions, reducing drag up to 8% vs. other 460cc driver heads.
Looks and Performance Preferred by Accomplished Players: A Conventional Head Shape with a Full Length Hosel, less face progression and more forward center of gravity are designed for highly skilled golfers.
Incredible Feel and Performance: High performance Aldila Habanero shafts are engineered as the ideal complement to the Diablo Edge drivers.

The Callaway Diablo Edge Driver is highly recommended by its users, who are amazed and ecstatic of their performance since they started playing with it. They said that the club looks great, it is very light and it has a fantastic grip. With its large sweet spot, it is easier for them to hit the ball. Users claimed that they are consistently hitting the ball further and straighter. Although slices can still happen but it is much more manageable compared to the drivers they previously used.

Winner of McGladrey Classic

Ben Crane won The McGladrey Classic on Oct. 16, 2011 on the Seaside Course in Sea Island, Georgia. He is the third different golfer to win a tournament during the three Fall Series events. Ben was also the third golfer to win his first 2011 PGA event on the Fall Tour. He won the event in a dramatic playoff as the Fall Series has produced two playoffs back to back. As a PGA fan, I enjoy the exciting playoff finishes and there have been plenty in 2011. It is also fun for me to have a so many different winners in absence of a dominant golfer. Ben Crane also enjoyed winning $720,000. Runner up Webb Simpson lost in a playoff. Michael Thompson missed the playoff by one stroke.
In 2006, just before he turned 30, Ben was the highest ranked American golfer under that age in the Official World Golf Rankings. In 2010, he carded a final-round 70 to win the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines by a single stroke, and in October 2010, he won the CIMB Asia Pacific Classic Malaysia, an event co-sanctioned by the PGA TOUR and Asian Tour. Ben won the 2011 McGladrey Classic by defeating Webb Simpson in a playoff.
Coming from out of the woodwork in the final round with a 63, Crane was able to force a playoff with tournament favorite—and possible player of the year—Webb Simpson.
Crane was all business on the first hole of sudden death as he split the fairway with his tee shot then followed up with an approach that he branded "The best I've got," in a TV interview. Frustratingly, he hurried his five-footer and allowed Webb to get up-and-down from the bunker to force a second playoff hole.
Both Crane's and Simpson's approach found the green and just as it looked as if Simpson would two-putt to force a third playoff hole, he lipped the putt out—to gasps and groans from the crowd—and the tournament was Crane's.
He was asked after the win if he thought he had a chance to win the tournament after the turn when he still trailed the leader by six strokes.
"I wasn't even looking at the leaderboard because I didn't feel like I had an opportunity to look at the leaderboard," Crane said in a TV interview. "I was just riding a hot putter, making those big putts at 10 and 11, then again at 14 and 15.
"I looked up on the 16th green and was like, 'Wow, I'm two back.' I ran one in there, then the adrenaline went through me when I birdied 17."
